Iranian feature ‘ISRAFIL’ goes for home release

Iranian film ‘ISRAFIL’ has been set to enter the domestic market of home entertainment.

Iranian film ‘ISRAFIL’ has been set to enter the domestic market of home entertainment.

Directed by Ida Panahandeh, the flick is to open its way into home market from December 18, 2018.

The Iranian flick 'ISRAFIL’ narrates the story of a widow named Mahi, who loses her only son. An old acquaintance appears at the funeral, with emotional entanglements following three characters, which have to make decisions not only about their emotions, but also about their future lives.

The flick features Pejman Bazeghi, Hedieh Tehrani, Merila Zarei and Hoda Zeinolabedin.

So far, ‘ISRAFIL’ has participated in the 16th Filmmor Women’s Film Festival in Turkey and the 41st Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden.

The movie has also succeeded to win the awards for Best Picture and Best Technical Achievement at the3rd edition of CineIran Festival in Canada in 2017.
